Opened in 2020, the Kalgoorlie Campus of Fairbridge College provides a flexible and inclusive learning environment for young people across the Kalgoorlie–Boulder region.
Located within CAMP Fairbridge Kalgoorlie (previously known as the Goldfields Camp School site), the campus caters for up to 50 students with a diverse range of learning and engagement needs—many of whom have faced barriers to success in mainstream education.
With small class sizes, strong wellbeing support, and a focus on trauma-informed practice, Kalgoorlie Campus supports students to re-engage with learning in ways that are relevant, empowering, and achievable.
A standout feature of the campus is its state-of-the-art STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) room, where students explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and maths through hands-on, real-world projects. The curriculum also connects meaningfully with local industries, giving students opportunities to explore vocational pathways and apply their learning in practical contexts.
Students are supported to improve foundational skills in literacy and numeracy, while also exercising choice and agency in shaping parts of their individual learning programs—fostering engagement, ownership, and personal growth.

While we recognise that every student’s circumstances are unique, regular attendance is key to meaningful learning and growth. Our attendance approach is trauma-informed, flexible, and built on trusted relationships.
Our school hours are 8:45 AM to 2:40 PM
Monday to Friday.
We ask students to wear comfortable, practical, and safe clothing suited to hands-on, flexible learning environments. Enclosed shoes are required for all activities.
